• It will depend on the brand. But I had an energizer and it lasted about 40 hours. Hope that answers your question.

• I don't know an exact number since I usually go months in between changing the battery but it lasts a good long time. I would say 40-50 hours if I had to guess. The battery is only used for the noise cancellation and not anything to do with amplification. When I travel I always put one extra battery in the carry case. When the LED begins to flash "low battery" I can ususally get several more hours before it dies.
