I have used mine on both an Android Samsung Galaxy 8+ and a HP laptop with no problems.

Great question. While the audio playback would be the same, the phone calls respond differently between the two platforms. To help with that, we instead designed two separate Inline microphones to meet Apple and Android specific requirements. Just to let you know, they are interchangeable and you may purchase a separate Android inline cable with your QC 25 for Apple devices. This way you can switch back and forth between your devices

My son has been using these headphones on an Asus computer and my husband on his Samsung phone. In both cases they have worked exceptionally well.

These work great with Android phones and PCs. The "For iPhone" means they confirm the controls will work with an iPhone and for marketing. Worry not.
