Battery is not replaceable, but you can still use these with a wired connection even if its dead, you just wont have the noise cancelling. 15 minutes of charging however gets you roughly 2 hours of use!

No, you have to plug in via USB or use the provided headphone cable (NC will not work without power). Battery life is excellent. I flew from Charleston to San Fran last week with two lay-overs (about 12 hours of travel) and still had 50% battery when I got to the hotel.

It is not. It is an internal battery that is not easily swappable. However, it's got 40 hours of wired playback and over 20 hours of Bluetooth. I have yet to have the battery die on me.

Unfortunately, no. The previous models were more consumer-friendly and had longer batteries (35 hours vs. 20 on these). Unfortunately, you will get less and less hours of music available as the battery ages. For thta reason, some people might want the QC25s, or the more reliable QC15s, which don't have the folding pattern of the QC25/35 which has caused issues on the 25s.

Just to add to the previous correct answers, Bose did offer a quick charge option where charging these headphones for ~20 minutes should give you two hours of wireless listening. I believe you can also charge and use these headphones at the same time.

The battery is not a quick replace battery, but these headphones allow users to continue to listen to their source (Wired) even if the battery power is depleted.
 However, without power, neither active noise cancellation nor Active EQ is able to function
