A:AnswerBattery is not replaceable, but you can still use these with a wired connection even if its dead, you just wont have the noise cancelling. 15 minutes of charging however gets you roughly 2 hours of use!
A:AnswerWe don't recommend using this speaker connected wirelessly to a tv. There can be a delay between the audio and video which is very distracting. However, it does have a 3.5mm jack for a wired connection.
A:AnswerWith over ear headphones you are always going to experience some leakage that's just a downside of the type. So for example in ear headphones have almost no leakage while most on ear and over year will almost always have some especially the louder you play your music. Because the headphones are so amazing at noise cancellation you really don't need to play your music over 50% to hear very clearly. And I would say others wouldn't be able hear your music unless unless you listen around 70-80% volume.
A:AnswerThese are comfortable to wear for long periods of time but I wouldn't wear them while exercising. They are not rated to be sweat, weather, and/or moisture resistant and I hate wearing on-ear and over-the-ear headphones (like these) while exercising as my ears get sweaty and hot. Your best option for Bluetooth exercising headphones are the new Bose SoundSport wireless earbuds. They are moisture resistant, lightweight, wireless, and won't cause your ears to get too hot.
A:AnswerI am curt using them now with a large storm outside (thunder and heavy rain). I didn't hear the entire storm until I looked out side. These will help you.
A:AnswerYou can concurrently have two devices connected to these headphones at the same time, but only one device can be playing audio to the headphones.
A:AnswerSo many different answers... It goes to show you that audio quality really is in the ear of the beholder. Personally, I found that these produced adequate bass but it was never overwhelming and they never really "thumped." These definitely aren't headphones for "bass-heads." The QC35's don't produce a flat sound, like the sound that audiophiles/audiophools over want. The bass is boosted as are the highs (producing a commercial v-shaped sound signature) but the bass isn't as pronounced like it is with the Beats Studio Wireless or even the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless headphones (the later being the most bass-heavy). If you didn't like the QC25's, you aren't going to like these. Both had "slightly higher than average" bass output though. It sounds like you want something with even more thump. You aren't really going to find a proper pair of wireless headphones, that have good noise cancellation, and produce large amounts of bass. Yeah, the Beats Studio Wireless headphones technically have noise cancellation but it sucks and might as well not be there.
You might want to check out the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless headphones though. They have very pronounced, yet clear bass. I think that they sound better than any wireless headphone currently on the market (even better than the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 headphones) due to their bass levels. They also have pronounced mids and highs along with a really wide sound stage. But they don't have noise cancellation. You also need to buy the XL earpads ($20) for them as the included earpads are too shallow and become uncomfortable after a short time of listening (less than an hour).
A:AnswerHere is how to check the remaining battery life on the headset:
Turn the headset on.
Observe the battery indicator below the volume down button and refer to the bulleted lists below
- or -
listen to the voice prompt announce the headphone battery charge level soon after powering on the headphones.
If no lights show but the headset is on, press any button on the headset to activate the LED indicators (indicators turn off after 10 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life)
When not charging:
Solid green light: 1 or more hours of battery life remains
Solid amber light: 1 or less hours of less battery life remains
Blinking red light: The battery should be charged (Note: Bluetooth will not work while charging)
When charging:
Blinking amber light: Charging
Solid green light: Charging complete
Solid red light: System not within acceptable temperature range
A:AnswerJust to clear things up: it is only rumored that the next iPhone won't have a 3.5mm headphone port. It hasn't been confirmed and multiple "leaks" of supposed iPhone 7 frames have contradicted each other. Some don't show a headphone port and others do. So it is anyone's guess at this point as to whether or not the next iPhone will have a headphone port.
Now, the good news is that Bluetooth is Bluetooth. The iPhone is always going to have Bluetooth for the foreseeable future and it will likely be updated to Bluetooth 5.0 next year. Bluetooth is backwards compatible so even Bluetooth 6 devices, ones that will likely be released in 5-6 years, will work with these Bose headphones (which use Bluetooth 4.1). If anything, you want to be looking at buying Bluetooth headphones in order to ensure compatibility with the next iPhone. The rumors are saying that Apple is getting rid of the headphone jack but, at the same time, they will be using the Lightning port for audio output. This means that you will need to buy an adapter (or Apple will provide one with the phone) in order to use wired headphones with the next iPhone. So again, it would be better to just stick with Bluetooth as you won't have to worry about wires or adapters, they will simply work.
To clear one more thing up that someone else mentioned: NFC is not something that is used to transmit audio. Bose added NFC to these headphones so that smartphones and tablets using NFC could easily pair with the headphones via Bluetooth. The NFC chip in the Bose headphones only instruct the media device how to connect quickly, it automates the process instead of having you go into your device's settings and manually adding the headphones. NFC is NOT used for the audio part, that is Bluetooth only. Even if the new iPhone opened up NFC support beyond ApplePay, it wouldn't connect to these headphones using it.
A:AnswerAny bluetooth or NFC enabled device should not have a problem using these.
Unlike previous models that were either iPhone or android specific, these are a multi use pair
A:AnswerBose QC 35s are excellent. Beats? Beats me...In all honesty I would sooner not listen to music through headphones than subject myself to Beats. Some people make fun of Bose and all one can think of is that it is to look like one an adult version of a "cool kid" in high school. Beats are flaccid in comparison to several other manufacturers offerings with Bose being one of them.
Yes, I have listened, albeit briefly, to music through a pair of Beats Studio 'phones and was left uninspired. Their look is common and without style. Others opinions may differ but this is mine. That said, the choice is yours. Choose wisely and enjoy the music.
