• No, it remains active! (a big plus for me, since you can watch your movies without the airplane engine noise)

• i was not able to turn off noise cancellation at all, but i did not connect it to an in-flight entertainment system.

• The answer is NO.. As long as the switch is on the noise cancelation is active.. Wired or wireless..
