“Do these headphones have a lot of hissing noise when using them in already quiet environment, such as if you were studying in your room. And are they worth the price over the QC 25's?”

Mine do not have any hissing during normal uses. Sometimes if I'm near a strong electromagnetic field, like a microwave, there may be some distortion. If you need to be able to move around they are worth the extra money over the QC 25, but the sound quality is not noticeably different between the two models (I have both). So it boils down to if you need to be free from your device cord.
