Q: QuestionCan these be used as hearing aids?

• A:Answer While I don’t need hearing aids yet my hearing is going to the point I have to be tested yearly. I have been using the quiet comfort ultra 1st gen and now the 2nd gen to help hear better in noisy situation in Aware Mode while at work and in noisy situations. They help me a lot hear every word around me and block out other noises at the same time. I know they are not hearing aids but they help greatly for those going deaf without having hearing aids and greatly cheaper.

• A:Answer Yes they can be used individually either left or right side. Once in a while one of the ear buds will not charge properly if it’s not carefully placed into the case, and when that happens to me, I just use the one ear bud without an issue.
