“What is the max wattage on the speaker and why is it not listed under the specification I think that it's really important to know how much power or amperage this speaker has for an output”

Bose as a general rule never puts the wattage on any speaker equipment. This can be frustrating because it eliminates the possible comparables. They say that the wattages do not account for the quality of sound. Which is true but we really want to know the maximum volume output and they are not helpful. My guess is that someone has made a video comparison of Bose and other similar products to give you an idea.
