  • Questionwhat s the diference betwing bose s1 pro portabe wireless pa system andbose s1 pro portable biuetooth speaker whith batery?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer The S1 pro and S1 pro + are similar but the + has the ability to usb audio interface to your computer. It also has 2 wireless receivers and charging ports built in. You would still need to purchase the transmitter(s) separately. One is for guitar and one is for microphones. This would allow you to record your performance to a DAW. It’s a nice feature if you need it. As for sound quality and power output they are mostly the same to me. The physical knobs have been updated and I think the Bluetooth is also updated but I never had a problem with the other speakers. FYI- I have both of these speakers and am speaking with experience.

  • QuestionHow about use it as karaoke application and interface with tv as monitor ?

    Asked by Teapea.

    • Answer Yes, the Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless PA System can absolutely be used for karaoke. It has a built-in 3-channel mixer that allows you to connect microphones and instruments, plus Bluetooth streaming for music playback. You can plug in wired mics or use optional Bose wireless transmitters for a cable-free setup. For karaoke, you’ll need a source for the lyrics and music, such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop running a karaoke app or service, and connect its audio output to the S1 Pro+ via Bluetooth or AUX. As for using your TV as a monitor, that’s possible too. Simply connect your karaoke device (like a laptop or streaming box) to the TV via HDMI for video, while routing the audio to the S1 Pro+ through Bluetooth or a wired connection (3.5mm AUX or XLR). This way, the lyrics display on the TV, and the sound comes through the Bose system for a professional karaoke experience.

  • QuestionWould likely only use this with wireless mics. What else do i need? Which wireless microphones would I need?

    Asked by curlyslim2.

    • Answer If you have a regular mic with an XLR connector on it, you can buy the optional Bose transmitter unit for it. I had an old Shure SM58 mic laying around and when I bought the transmitter, it turned it into a pretty awesome wireless mic! Another choice would be to look into the Tonor wireless mics. Very impressive sound and range for the price. I included photos of both options.

  • QuestionCan you use it as a subwoofer for the TV as well as play music

    Asked by Fred.

    • Answer Hello! Thanks for asking! The Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless PA System is a great choice for portable music playback and live audio applications, but it’s not recommended for use with a TV, especially as a subwoofer. It’s designed as a professional PA speaker rather than a home theater component, and it doesn’t offer the features or sound profile typically expected for cinematic audio. However, it can still be used to stream music via Bluetooth or wired connections for casual listening. For a more immersive TV experience, we offer a range of home theater systems specifically built for that purpose. • Questionhow will this sound playing a movie on

    Asked by RobertS.

    • Answer Hi there! The Bose S1 Pro+ is primarily designed as a portable PA system and Bluetooth speaker, so while it’s not specifically built for home theater use, it can still deliver a solid movie-watching experience depending on your setup and expectations. Here’s what to expect when using it to play a movie: Clear vocals and crisp highs. Dialogue will come through clearly, which is great for movies. Strong bass response, it has decent low-end performance, though not as deep or cinematic as a dedicated subwoofer. Wide sound dispersion, it fills a room well, especially in smaller to medium spaces. You can also connect via Bluetooth or use the aux input from a TV or media player. Jelyn - Bose Customer Support

  • QuestionCan this speaker be taken on an airplane?

    Asked by Airlines.

    • Answer Yes. Because of the lithium battery, you need to carry it as hand luggage, inside the airplane cabin. And when going through security, you will need to inform that you have a speaker and pass it through the scanner alone. I brought one this way from the US to Brazil without any problems. On Bose's own website you can find information about this kind of transportation, including a specific backpack.
