A: No, our JBL Xtreme 2 has a connect + while the Xtreme 3 and Boombox 2 have the PartyBoost feature. Only speakers that have the same connect feature can pair with each other.

A: The USB port on our JBL Xtreme 3 is for charging your devices only. It doesn't support USB playback. You can connect your devices via Bluetooth or 3.5 mm aux cable.

Xtreme 3 has the PartyBoost feature, which can be connected to the same PartyBoost, such as the JBL Xtreme 3, JBL Boombox 2, JBL Pulse 5, JBL Pulse 4, JBL Boombox 3, and JBL Flip 5. While the Boombox 1 has a Connect+ feature that can wirelessly link more than 100 JBL Connect+-enabled speakers, such as the Charge 3 upgraded version, Charge 4, Pulse 3, Flip 4, and Xtreme 2.
