Portable Power and Durability Anywhere
I have to say that the JBL Xtreme 4 is really impressive for anyone who likes powerful outdoor sound: it holds up well thanks to its IP67 rating (water and dust resistant), the battery lasts a long time — around 24 hours of regular use, and with the Playtime Boost feature you can squeeze out a few extra hours. The sound is lively by default, with decent bass and fairly clear mids and highs, although if you want more punch in the lows it’s best to tweak the EQ. I also like that the battery is replaceable, which gives the speaker a longer lifespan. In short, if you’re looking for something portable, loud, durable, for parties or outdoor use, the Xtreme 4 delivers.

Why the JBL Xtreme 4 Dominates: Rugged, Punchy Bas
If you want strong bass, solid durability, and long battery life for under $300, the JBL Xtreme 4 is a great choice. I compared it to the Sony ULT 5. Sony had LDAC, AUX, and LEDs, but the Xtreme 4 provided deeper bass and was about 1 kg lighter. It is also tough enough for beach and trail use, with an IP67 rating. Also the Sony app was pure garbage, it crashes most times and almost everything is controlled using the app for the speaker. The battery lasts 20 to 22 hours at standard volume, which is close to JBL’s 24-hour claim. Also has a removable battery which makes it easy to swap but you got to have T20 Torx screw driver to do it, which is the only issue. The JBL app includes a 5-band EQ and Auracast pairing. It even has a shoulder strap with a bottle opener. What are the downsides? It loses some bass punch when ‘Playtime Boost’ is on, the controls aren’t backlit, and the bass starts to compress near maximum volume. But these are minor concerns overall. Rating: 4.5/5. It’s powerful, durable, and has great battery life. A true party starter and one of the best options under $300.

JBL Speaker
The perfect size to take to the ballpark and easy to carry. The strap is adjustable and the battery life can last way longer than expected. I’ve used it four time for more than 2/3 hours running without having to charge it.
