Sony - SA -RS5 Wireless Rear Speakers with Built-in Battery for HT-A9000/HT-A8000/HT-A7000/HT-A5000/HT-A3000 - Black

RS-5 rear speakers sound great and was absolutely worth every dollar. Leaves you with no room to question WHAT IF, as these rear speakers will give great sound & also are WIRE AND WIRELESS WHICH I LOVE when going wireless you have a 9 hour battery to use and when you connect it for charge all it takes is 10min and you have another 9hours of battery if using wireless, or just leave it plugged in and use it without any battery drainage . I have it connected to my HTA-7000 sound bar from sony which compliments the RS-5 rear speakers.

Nice, powerful, easy to setup with the app. Really completed my home theater system. Really enjoy the sound. They are quite big so if you're mounting them make sure they're on a stud. And having the option to be wireless is a major plus

Bought these bundled with the Sony HT-a7000 bar and SW5 subwoofer. These speakers are amazing. They sound great and look great. I have them on speaker stands off to the side for day to day use. When I want to watch a movie with the fam I unplug them (these are true wireless speakers with built in batteries) and move them into prime position right behind us and with a simple push of the optimize button on top them it reoptimizes to their new position. The batteries last up to 10hrs on a full charge and have battery indicator lights so you never need to worry about the battery dying in the middle of a movie. They are expensive but I believe you get a premium product with features you won't find anywhere else. I got them at a discount when bundled. If you can manage that, it's a no brainer in my opinion.

These are good speakers, but at this price point you need to start thinking about how to reinventing the wheel. I will admit the best feature for me is that I can move them anywhere and have one sitting next to me when I work in my dining room. Other than that- I’m not sure the price is justified over getting the SA-RS3S. What would be great is to be able to use the speakers for surround no matter the signal they are receiving. LG has now made this an option on all of their satellite speaker/sound bars. I feel like with these models, we are only using them at a 3rd of their potential. You are still very limited . They are still very low volume wise - and I have them on max and they sit maybe 2 feet from my head and I still have trouble hearing them on movies and shows. Great sounding for surround speakers. 4 stars due to connectivity issues with wireless from time to time. Currently using for surround with atmos for SONY AZ5000ES receiver. I didnt want to run wires and wanted a clean look when hooking up my surround sound. I just wish it was bluetooth so it could be more versatile and reduce connectivity issues. Overall, speakers are great. I would wait for sales or discounts!!
