Great satelite speakers that are compatible with the HT-A3000, 5000, and 7000. So pretty versital and connects almost instantly. Great sound and havt had any issues with them cutting out or losing connection. These ARE WIRELESS, but undestand what that means - they dont directly connect to the main unit, thus they wirelessly (wifi/bluetooth) connect to the main bar. They do have a power cord. So you can place them anywhere in your room. My only gripe is that i cant control them to always play music or “surround “ if the channel that is coming through isnt supporting surround capabilities. So unless im playing a dolby movie, or music that suports surround sound, they dont play anything or play at a very low volume even with the volume at max

The SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers were built specifically for Sony's HT-A7000/A5000/A3000 Soundbar, making setup quick and easy. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the surround effect. To ensure sound is being output from both the speaker system and the optional rear speakers, press the IMMERSIVE AE to turn on the Immersive Audio Enhancement function, the speaker system upmixes audio signals, and sound is output from all speakers.
If you feel the volume level from the rear speaker is too low, follow the steps from the link below to troubleshoot this issue.

I recently bought a Sony A5000 soundbar to go with my Sony Bravia A80J big screen. The sound bar was a big improvement over my old one but I wanted to get true surround sound. I read a lot of reviews about the two options for this system (the RS3S and the RS5S) and opted for the smaller pair as the surround sound in this system is such that not everything comes through the back speakers. While testing that was apparent. Sometimes nothing happens with the rear set. But man, when something uses the rears these smaller speakers pack a punch. And it depends on how the Dolby Atmos is coded. For example, in The Batman the rears are used for mood and you hear a lot of music and ambient noise through the rears as opposed to explosions. Oppenheimer used it for explosions, yes, but also for weather. And these smaller speakers handle these tasks incredibly well. I did turn the rears to full volume and would recommend purchasers do the same so you can enjoy the immersive effect when they are used. And the best part of this is that I was able to buy these as an open box-excellent item. If you are in the market for rear speakers for the A3000/5000/7000 don’t hesitate buying these smaller rear speakers—especially if you can get an open box deal!

A must buy with with any a series sound bar. I am using it with ht-a3000 and made a lot of difference compared to the sound bar alone as I was about to return it. Also purchased a subwoofer to complete the system. Movies, music and ps5 games sounds great. Easy to set up.

These are really good speakers they’re just not loud enough. They definitely add to the depth and dimension of what you’re watching. It’s very subtle, but without them, something would definitely be lacking.

To ensure sound is being output from both the speaker system and the optional rear speakers, press the IMMERSIVE AE to turn on the Immersive Audio Enhancement function, the speaker system upmixes audio signals, and sound is output from all speakers. Depending on the combination of the setting of SOUND FIELD and input signal, surround sound processing may not work effectively. The surround effect may be subtle, depending on the program or disc.
To play multi-channel audio, check the digital audio output setting on the device connected to the speaker system. For details, refer to the operating instructions of the connected device. You can also set the speaker distance from your listening position and their output level, etc. to obtain the best possible surround sound.

Perfect surround speakers for our sound bar just plug them in and the soundbar does the rest. Cant ask for anything better or easier. They put off Great sound and they're easily mounted to the wall.

I was torn between getting these and the larger SA-RS5. These have been more than adequate in my opinion. I was worried when other reviews said they were too quiet but with the adjustable volume I can turn them up for movies and music.
