RS-5 rear speakers sound great and was absolutely worth every dollar. Leaves you with no room to question WHAT IF, as these rear speakers will give great sound & also are WIRE AND WIRELESS WHICH I LOVE when going wireless you have a 9 hour battery to use and when you connect it for charge all it takes is 10min and you have another 9hours of battery if using wireless, or just leave it plugged in and use it without any battery drainage . I have it connected to my HTA-7000 sound bar from sony which compliments the RS-5 rear speakers.

Nice, powerful, easy to setup with the app. Really completed my home theater system. Really enjoy the sound. They are quite big so if you're mounting them make sure they're on a stud. And having the option to be wireless is a major plus

Bought these bundled with the Sony HT-a7000 bar and SW5 subwoofer. These speakers are amazing. They sound great and look great. I have them on speaker stands off to the side for day to day use. When I want to watch a movie with the fam I unplug them (these are true wireless speakers with built in batteries) and move them into prime position right behind us and with a simple push of the optimize button on top them it reoptimizes to their new position. The batteries last up to 10hrs on a full charge and have battery indicator lights so you never need to worry about the battery dying in the middle of a movie. They are expensive but I believe you get a premium product with features you won't find anywhere else. I got them at a discount when bundled. If you can manage that, it's a no brainer in my opinion.

These are good speakers, but at this price point you need to start thinking about how to reinventing the wheel. I will admit the best feature for me is that I can move them anywhere and have one sitting next to me when I work in my dining room. Other than that- I’m not sure the price is justified over getting the SA-RS3S. What would be great is to be able to use the speakers for surround no matter the signal they are receiving. LG has now made this an option on all of their satellite speaker/sound bars. I feel like with these models, we are only using them at a 3rd of their potential. You are still very limited . They are still very low volume wise - and I have them on max and they sit maybe 2 feet from my head and I still have trouble hearing them on movies and shows. They are also a lot bigger than their previous release. All cloth with a grill top. Mine is paired with A5000 and the SA-SW3 sub

Great sounding for surround speakers. 4 stars due to connectivity issues with wireless from time to time. Currently using for surround with atmos for SONY AZ5000ES receiver. I didnt want to run wires and wanted a clean look when hooking up my surround sound. I just wish it was bluetooth so it could be more versatile and reduce connectivity issues. Overall, speakers are great. I would wait for sales or discounts!!

Perfect addition to an already amazing sound system (A7000) paired with the SW5 Subwoofer. Having replaced my 7 year old 5.1 LG Dolby soundbar recently with this setup from Sony, I can honestly say I am blown away. Having a Sony OLED already, this was a fantastic system to pair it with. For my room setup I wanted to stay with a soundbar and the 990Q was the closest competitor, I like to stay away from Samsung with very poor prior experiences. Bottom line, this system paired with these rear speakers is amazing.

These speakers are great. The sound is excellent and fills the room. You should however do the manual setup for the sound so you can get the volume louder. These speakers also turn off when you turn the Sony ht-a7000 soundbar off as long as you keep the speakers plugged into the ac outlet.

I add these speakers addition to Sony HT-A5000 is a 5.1.2ch Dolby Atmos soundbar. Its best surrounding speakers for immersive experience. If you are playing PS5 this will give you best experience as you hear sounds as your game character moves. I love it ! Also I recommend to buy insignia 28-38” vertical stands ($50)

Fantastic sound quality, painful to find compatible mounts for it though. They are meant for wall Mounts or to be placed on actual bookshelves

Pretty unimpressed with these. I have the A5000 sound bar and sw5 300 watt sub woofer connected to the 65in x95k tv also and love those but these speakers just arent very loud. When you optomize them or go to a 5.1 test on youtube they are loud, so they are capible of it, but on movies and tv shows ( that say 5.1 dolby atmos) you can barely hear them if at all. I bought them open box thru progressive leasing 90 day early purchase plan and got them for $452 but had to pay progressive leasings $59 fee so i got them for about $90 off. I didnt return them if that says anything but its really just because i wanted to have a complete setup and didnt want the rs3's. Again, i really dont know what to say, they sound great and loud on 5.1 tests on youtube and are very loud when you do the optimization but i have yet to find a movie where they are loud. Id give them a 3/10. Their better than nothing but for $600 speakers re not at all what you would expect. I added a picture so you can see, i have them literally right behind me. They are very close to were i sit and i should be able to hear them.

I originally had the RS3 surround sound speakers and I was reasearching more to see if my decision was valid. Turns out it wasnt. You will not get true 360 spatial mapping from sony with the RS3 surround sound speakers. You can only get true 360 spatial audio or true atmos with the RS5 surround sound. I do not regret this purchase. They are amazing !

Absolutely amazing! These completed my setup with the a7000 sound bar and 300w sub. It is important to understand how to set these up. Pnce you do and optimize it, its fantastic!

I have been wanting to upgrade to a set of rear speakers with for Sony A5000 soundbar for a while. My bday present to myself was a pair of these. Mission accomplished, love them. I couldnt run wires so i knew these could perform on its battery. Boy they sound fantastic. Happy bday to me.

I got them to pair with Sony theater bar 8 and now it sounds more amazing.

Good God, almighty are these things so beautiful, Sony has got above and Ber with these speakers they are freaking outstanding. I couldn’t be happier with how they sound look definite 12 out of 10

Best surroundsound, clear voice Enhance all overall 3-D hearing. A bit pricey, but worth it for me.

Amazing, worked really well and made watching movies better. Felt like speakers you would find at a movie theater! Definitely worth buying.

These do not last 10 hours at full volume. Over all great sound without the power cords on the wall.
