“Got this yesterday & ready to hook it up to my Sony. I used to use computer speakers w/ 3.5mm input. The power always stayed on and I could use cable, Roku or TV remote to adjust sound. Will that work here? Don't want to use the Bose remote if possible.”

It comes with its own remote that you can set to work other devices. It function my TV and Cable Box with no trouble. It prefers to use fiber optic cord for sound to your TV which is supplied. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact you have to purchase a 20 dollar bracket if you choose to wall mount
