It should, but I suppose it depends on the tv. Is it old? Does it have optical cable capabilities? It also depends on the size of the room where the tv is. It worked perfectly with my newer 55” sony in a small living room.

Yes! I have a 65 inch Vizio mounted in my living room and I love the sound that the Bose Solo 5 puts out. There's no need for a sub woofer because that little bar packs a whopping amount of bass and surround sound capabilities. I would recommend this bar to anyone who's looking to start adding to their entertainment center.
