The sounds is clear for audio books the voice comes out clear. I wasn't able to use the speaker for phone calls, I thought this was kind of weird since I could get phone calls using a cheaper speaker.

Hey Bethany, yes this product is the best, it gives out good clear sound with awesome bass compared to its size. Does its compatability for bluetooth and aux is really useful by which you can connect your phone. I would recommend you these product.

Hello Bethany. The sound quality of the Bose SoundLink Color is excellent, with clear highs for great clarity from any source. The original SoundLink Color does not have a microphone for calls, but the SoundLink Color II does which also delivers great clarity. Thanks!
