Sounds great as I expected from Bose. Great size for travel. Easy to set up. Good range. I picked it over the more expensive $199 model because it had more volume in the store. I will use it around the house and for travel and have not been disappointed.

The most I like is the quality of sound, I was looking to have a portable speaker while training sessions and Bose really overpass my expectations about quality of sound in a little box, now that is only the beginning I just take my speaker with me and wireless works great, rechargeable battery provides me with at least 3 hrs workout session with no issue at all. The color is nice to me and the size is easy to carry. I love this speaker.

I always thought BOSE was out of my league. But this great small but loud speaker comes out at a very affordable price. Many colors to choose from. The sound is amazing and we take it everywhere we go. Its a hit at family gatherings. Connects to our phone via bluetooth within seconds. Its great and we are going to buy another one on Sunday!

I had $20 in BestBuy vouchers I had to spend before they expired so I went into Best Buy to kick tires - nothing particular in mind. Just something that was around $20 so I did not get snookered into spending $ on something that I did not really need. I am weak!!! When I saw this item and heard the sound quality for the size and cost, I violated my goal of frugality and walked out with this unit. I have not been disappointed in any way. Functionally it is easily paired with bluetooth devices, never has any hiccups in maintaining connections, and when positioned correctly in it's environment provides awesome sound. You can spend more money on similar speakers and inherently buy richer sound, but this unit is extremely well balanced for it's sound quality vs. cost with the scale tipping towards sound quality.

I have the bose sound link 2, the mini sound link, and now the sound link color. I noticed i'm using the color soundlink more because all the levels treble, bass, and mediums sound very balanced. I particularly like the percussions that i hear on the color sound link that i don't hear on the other two. I also love the very mobility of the compact color link and with the protective carry case, it is perfect. I play acoustic guitar and record my song melodies on my iphone and then play them on my color link via bluetooth that fits on one of my soft guitar gig bag pouches. The color link will play the melodies i recorded while i'll play the leads on top while i am playing around out doors. Nice huh?

I received this Bose speaker as a gift for my birthday. What a great gift! I use it in my office with my Apple 5 and the sound is great. Easy to set up and easy to connect.. The sound just blows away other speakers I have used with my smart phone. I have other Bose products, such as my I POD speaker, but this speaker is so convenient and packs a powerful clear sound that take up very little space. This may be one of the best gifts I have ever received.

I was pleasantly surprised with how easy my new Bose Sound Link pairs with all my Apple products. When pairing, the speaker is voice activated which lets you know when the pairing is completed. That's a nice touch. The sound is typical Bose. Lush rich bass sound with nice even highs. Works well in a small a large room. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

I luv my Boise Bluetooth portable speaker, I take it n backyard and jamm and also workout with it. Wow the sound is much better than my water speakers I was working out with. There is nothing like Boise, I own Boise surrounding theatre systems even, n 2 rooms of my home. Boise is old school, always has jammed the sound. Awesome, thanx Boise!!

This Bluetooth speaker puts out a great sound and a lot of volume for a small speaker. The quality is good, and the volume adjusts nicely. I struggled briefly to get the device paired with my phone (a problem I am familiar with). But once paired, the speaker works great!

I put this up against all the blue tooth speakers at the store and for the price, figured it to be one of the best buys. It only sounds better at home. Small enough to take anywhere, but has a bigger sound than most! I would buy this again!!!

Lots of sound and good quality. This is ready to go right out of the box. Syncs right up with all Apple products that I have including my iMac. To switch input just scroll with the Bluetooth button until you pair up with the one you want. Gets ok range about 20 ft through walls and from second floor. I love it. Saved me from running wires all through my walls. 130.00 well spent.

Great portable speaker, Bluetooth. The speaker sound is very loud and clear. Nice size able to place anywhere to hear music. I was debating on buying because of the price but the speaker is well worth it

I bought this in order to get better sound when using my iPhone when listening to radio talk shows when I am home. Sound quality is outstanding. Love the portability of it.

I was in the market for a portable Bluetooth speaker for a party at my apartment complex's club room. I looked at Beats by Dr. Dre as my first choice. I read about JVC and finally decided to go to my local Best Buy. I tested out the Beats and top of the line Bose speakers. The sales person I worked with was very knowledgeable and after explaining my needs he turned my attention to this more affordable Bose speaker. The sound quality of this speaker superseded Beats by a large margin and was on par eight the more expensive Bose speakers but this speaker was on sale for a little over $100 which is a steal!! The speaker gave amazing sound at my party and I love that I can be in another room in my 1800 square feet apartment and wirelessly hook up my iPhone or iPad and enjoy music, sermons, etc. I'm currently using it to play rain and thunder sounds on YouTube as background noise while I sleep but I'm sure it'll come in handy for much more especially during the summer. The speaker is very functional and easy to use. Downside is it is not very attractive and just basic looking- although it comes in a few more colors thank black, it does not charge your iPhone or other electronic devices like some other speakers in its class will and after about 4 hours or so of uninterrupted use it turns itself off. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase and I don't regret my choice at all!!!

I have been looking for a small Bluetooth speaker. I looked at a lot of them but I kept coming back to Bose SoundLink. I wanted something portable and affordable. All the reviews stated that the Bose SoundLink was the best for sound, portability, and affordable. The Bose SoundLink is great. It was easy to set up the Bluetooth to connect IPad, phone or computer. I am able to take it any where in the house. I love it. The only thing I have had happen, it will drop the Bluetooth connection to my computer and I have to disconnected and delete the bose from my computer then reconnect it again, but all in all for the price and the sound is the best. "Bose Quality". For a little speaker the sound is fantastic I am planning to buy another one for my son.

I tested the other Bluetooth speakers and none came close to the sound quality of Bose! I take it every where with me and I love that it's compact enough to fit any purse I have. People are amazed at the sound quality when they hear it. It's even better quality sound than Beats by Dre! I highly recommend this Bluetooth speaker for those that have an appreciation for music and really want to hear that great quality of sound.

PROS: Good sound quality for a wireless speaker, easily portable, sturdy (dropped once without any damage), easy-to-use buttons, easy to set up, battery recharges quickly. CONS: Does not get loud enough for large spaces or outdoors. This speaker is great for pairing with my tablet. I don't listen to music with my tablet. Photos of useful views not available on Amazon:

I have had a few portable speakers and this is by far the best one and in addition it is Bluetooth, so no wires. I really enjoy the deep rich sound. The only thing left to say is it is a Bose!!!

The speaker has a great sound in a small package. It was very easy to hook up and use. It has a great Bluetooth range as well.
