Q: can speaker be hooked up to a tv using a cable?
A: Hi Chris, The SoundLink Color speaker has a 3.5mm analog AUX input on the rear, to hard-wire an external device for audio playback. If your TV has a headphone or red and white RCA style output, you should certainly be able to connect it to this system. Thanks for your question.
Q: Can you leave this plugged in?
A: I leave mine plugged in around the house without any issues so far... last forever it seems however off the power source as well. I would think like any rechargeable product it is best to let it run down every so often not to shorten battery memory and/or life.
Q: How does this compare to the Soundlink Mini?
A: Good Question! I purchased the Sound Link Mini for my wife and the other for my son. There are two main options. 1. Rigidity - The Bose Sound link is much more rugged than the mini. My son will be a little rougher on his than my wife will be with the mini. 2. Look - I think the Mini is much more elegant in design and fits the decor of the house more than the color. Q: Can link two together to get true stereo sound?
A: Only one SoundLink speaker can be used with a particular phone or device via Bluetooth at any given time. There is no ability to play back from more than one speaker at once. Individual SoundLink Color speakers play in stereo. They do not have any option to select for Left/Right/Mono playback. Thank you.
Q: Can this speaker be used with an old fashioned, plug in, table top radio?
A: Yes, this can connect to an older radio with the 3.5mm connection.
