Hello Ae! Thank you for your question regarding our SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speaker. To enjoy your CD collection with this speaker, the system must be Bluetooth enabled. If your player has Bluetooth capability such as a laptop or karaoke machine you can hook the speaker up to it as you would any other Bluetooth device then you can use your player as normal but it would play through the Bose speaker
