Thank you for the excellent question! While the SoundTouch 130 will create a room-filling sound even with a 5.1 input, it will not deliver a true 5.1 experience as there are no rear speakers. For that, we would recommend one of our 5.1 systems such as the Lifestyle 650. Thanks!
