“I have tinnitus and some sounds hurt my ears. It seems digital sound is worse than old analog. Bose usually has really nice sound, so even though there aren't many buttons on the remote, do you think this will have good sound with bass and midrange?”

I have similar hearing issues due to extreme noise exposure. This somewhat improves my ability to understand spoken dialogue which is problematic to me. The price of this unit is reasonable, and can be returned if it does not meet your need.
