You can use the turntable with the Wave radio but there's a catch. You will need a pre-amp between the turntable and the radio. Stereo receivers have the pre-amp built in. That's why they have a separate phono input. The Wave has an Aux input which is different. You can purchase phono pre-amps but I can't offer much direction there other than just Google it.
