“Will the sound be ok if I put it in a cabinet (without doors in front of it) , or do I need to put it on top of a cabinet?”

• I'd put it on top of the cabinet. There is curvature to the speakers and I think the sound would be dulled if sitting in the cabinet shielded by the cabinet's sides.
