Yes it is. There are about 20 different pieces total. They provide the allen wrenches for the bolts but you will need a phillips screwdriver to attach the back of the display cover and a crescent wrench to tighten the pedals. They do recommend 2 people to assemble this product but I was able to do it alone with the use of a chair to elevate the bike while attaching the bottom stabilizers. A flashlight is handy to see the holes and line them up as well. It took me several hours because I read the manual first and then read it again as I assembled each section. It's not that difficult just be patient and don't get in a hurry.
