No it is not self tamping. You do it yourself. You will feel like a barista while using this machine. It’s pretty fun. I will one of these days make a design in my coffee. I try everyday. Lol

No, you need to tamp the coffee grinds with the tamper they provide

Hello. No, the Barista Touch doesn't have an auto-tamp function. Only the Oracle models have auto-tamp.
