• Yes, this machine does make espresso, which you can then use to create many different drinks. It does not create drip coffee.

• I make a latte and pour it over ice. It's very nice. As for a fappe I would suggest making a double espresso and pouring it into your blended liquid of choice. Kind of how most coffee house do it.
