The oven has a tendency to get warm when you use the air fryer, oven or combination features. I have my oven on a stainless steel shelf with 2.5 inches of clearance from the top, and 2 inches of clearance from the left wall. I have to note that the wall surfaces and the surface beneath my cabinets are stainless steel, so I personally have not had any issues.
