• You need at least 8 inches all around for safety reasons, but especially from the top since heat rises. It's about 20w x 12.5h x 19d. They don't recommend it though. I used an infrared thermometer while i was cooking to measure the top and got temps of up to 160F.

• The dimensions of the Breville BMO870 Quiet Wave 3-in-1 Microwave are 20.4" (W) x 12.5" (H) x 20.2" (D) with handle / 19.3" without handle. To allow for proper ventilation a minimum of 8 inches on all sides is recommended.
