- Answer This oven has the ability to be used as an air fryer in addition to a convection oven. Not all ovens have this feature.

- Answer Yes, the Breville® BOV845 Smart Oven® Pro can be placed on a quartz counter top. However there are silicone counter top mats that can be purchased if you prefer extra insurance from possible heat issues.

QuestionEverything you read says don’t spray cleaner on the oven and don’t touch the heating elements so how do you clean the ceiling on the Breville BOV900. Can you turn the oven upside down to clean it or do you stand on your head?

- Answer Cleaning the interior of the Breville® BOV900 Smart Oven® Air should be relatively easy with a soft slightly damp cloth using a non-abrasive dish washing detergent that works well on grease.

QuestionI have a cheesecake recipe that calls for a 500 degree oven; this oven only goes to 450. With convection on, what would be the adjustment in time - if indeed this is even possible?

- Answer Convection breaks down the cooking time to almost half. Follow the recipe & with 450 convection , bake it 5-7 min less to what the recipe asks for. Keep on checking the top without opening ever 10-15 min.

- Answer The frozen button sets it to the ideal mod for frozen foods. Frozen foods can be cooked on a normal bake setting as well.

- Answer All materials and compounds used in the manufacturing of Breville® products, including the BOV900 Smart Oven® Air Fryer Pro, are considered proprietary and may not be disclosed. All Breville® products are food safe and compliant with all applicable product safety regulations and requirements. The interior of the oven is PFOA free but not PTFE free. As well, the BOV900 does not reach temperatures over 600°F.

It's a California state law that requires businesses with 10 or more employees to provide reasonable warning about the use of any chemicals the state has decided could cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Probably some chemicals were used in the manufacture process.

- Answer No, the answer from Breville Customer Support is wrong. It cannot be adjusted at all. You cannot hold down the F/C° button for three seconds or any other combination of buttons. It cannot be adjusted on this model, you must buy the air fryer pro (+$120) for this feature. Real bummer because otherwise this would probably be a great oven. As is, if anyone is sleeping in your house when the buzzer goes off, game over
