• its very light and could be on a metal shelve unit or kitchen stand but i dont think i would trust it on a tv tray.

• I'm not sure about the metal shelve, it may be OK if you put the recommended bamboo cutting board on top of oven. Would also depend on the spacing/space of the shelf. I would think that a TV tray would not be tall enough and not safe if you have little ones around. Hope this helps.
