“Can this microwave be put in a cabinet? Can a trim kit (another brand) be used to to give it a built- in look?”

• It is not recommended that the Breville® BMO850 Smooth Wave™ Microwave be mounted in a cabinet. 4 inches of space on all sides and 8 inches above are recommended for proper ventilation while in operation.

• The microwave has a vented side and back. It needs space to breathe. I don't have mine in a cabinet.

• According to the manual...NO. This was my only disappointment with this unit. No where in my research was it stated that it could not be built in. I do plan on putting mine in a cabinet, but not as a built-in.

• we put the microwave in a cabinet but left without a trim package to allow for aiirflow.
