“Is the filter made of stainless steel?”

• I believe so, it is laser etched and no paper filter is required. I brew either Peets, Gevalia or 8 O'clock ground coffee every day and just wash the filter with a sponge, soap and water. Works great for me and pour over is the way to go in my opinion.
