QuestionIs the filter made of stainless steel?

- Answer I believe so, it is laser etched and no paper filter is required. I brew either Peets, Gevalia or 8 O'clock ground coffee every day and just wash the filter with a sponge, soap and water. Works great for me and pour over is the way to go in my opinion.

QuestionWhere can I buy more of the paper filters it comes with or which ones would work? #4 do no work bc they have flat bottom.

QuestionTo avoid using paper filters, what is the best type of ground coffee to use so as not to get sediment in the liquid coffee ? If I buy paper filters, what size works best? #4? Thanks in advance.

- Answer use whatever brews the best flavor, then skip the last sip and hence any sediment. now your set for life. best wishes.
