• Two ways, both online; request a CD from Brother; download the software from their website. Setup is easy for Windows, a little bit trickier for Mac.

• The setup is basically just the software. The instructions give you a website to download that from so you should be fine. I did use the cd on one of my computers and used Ethernet cable to hardwire it to my modem. Every computer on the network can now print without the need for the software. Hope that helps.

• My Brother Laser came with a cd included. I put it in the drive and it uploaded to my computer, easy-peasy.
