I aim getting two different ones, the three color pack , and the single Blk package !!!! So what is this quantity stuff ????? null

You'll get three single colored cartridges. Black is a separate purchase. You only need to replace each color on their own as they run out which is nice.

It's a cat and mouse game. If one would asked the clerk he/she will point you in the right direction, also Best Buy offers a mega pack, that includes all colors but, this package deal needs be order on line. Best of luck.

The box should tell you which selection will produce enough ink for more prints. This is important if you use black ink a lot.

You don't have to buy the 3 color pack later on. If your printer indicates, for example, that cyan ran out, you can just buy a cyan cartridge. I always hated it with our old printer when one color ran out, there was still some left of the other 2, but we had to buy a 3-color cartridge. what a waste.

If you buy your black in an XL cartridge, you will find that it lasts much longer than the regular cartridges. Since Black is the color most of us use the most, it's handy to have it last longer!

the color ones have 3 in each package, the black have one. I go through black a lot faster so I buy 3 blacks and 1 color box each time

Ours last a few with normal printing a few pages a day roughly.
