“Are these genuine Brother cartridges? With a "compatible" pack, 1 cartridge looked like the others but the ink compartment door wouldn't close with it in, the display says "cannot detect" & 2 days lateI, I'm still trying to clean my hands of that ink!”

• I have only ever used the genuine Brother cartridges as pictured. Never experienced the problem you described. I would suggest returning product to Best Buy store and talking to one of their helpful associates.

• The LC2033PKS ink cartridges are the Brother Genuine cartridges. Brother strongly recommends that customers do not use generic ink cartridges. Using non-Brother supplies may affect the hardware performance, print quality and machine reliability since the ink formulation in genuine Brother ink cartridges prevents smearing and clogging of the print head.
