“I'm about half way through the ink supply that came with the J995 printer. Do you have to wait until the ink runs out in the printer in order to replace the first cartridges....or has all of the ink from the first cartridges been moved to the tank system?”

• Wait until you start running out. You have plenty of ink left. One good thing is that this printer does not go through ink as fast as my HP printer did.
