Not without breaking them and risking a spill... The cartridges are large and they will print about 6K pages before it runs out.

They only problem is the mobile app for you to print using your phone, sometimes will required for you to add the printer again to print ( this. Take a few seconds but it should not happen

Using non-Brother supplies may affect the hardware performance, print quality, and machine reliability since the ink formulation in genuine Brother ink cartridges prevents smearing and clogging of the print head. The Brother limited warranty doesn't apply to any problem caused by the use of unauthorized third party ink and/or cartridges. Brother multifunction machines are designed to work with ink of a particular specification and will work to a level of optimum performance when used with genuine Brother branded ink cartridges. Brother can't guarantee this optimum performance if the ink or ink cartridges of other specifications are used. Brother doesn't, therefore, recommended the use of cartridges other than genuine Brother branded cartridges with this machine or the refilling of empty cartridges. If damage is caused to the print head or other parts of the machine as a result of using incompatible products with the machine, any repairs required as a result may not be covered by warranty.
