The best thing for you to do would be to consult the owner's manual for your printer to see what cartridges the Brother MFC7340 will accept. Another alternative is to consult the Brother support web page for the search engine that determines the cartridge compatibility. (I checked it via this link, and found that it is compatible: http://www.brother-usa.com/supplies/accessorylist.aspx?Model=mfc7340.)
