Yes you may control the light bulbs with your Google home app. Turn the light on and Google home will automatically detect the bulb then setup.

All you have to do is start with the light turned on and pressed the add button. There is a set up device that you should click. Afterwards there is a set up a new device. The program will prompt you to make sure everything gets connected. It seems like a lot of steps, but the process is straight forward.
