You just need to use the light bulbs. No changing the switches.

Hi there! There is no need to change your switch if you are replacing your lights with smart lights. You will however need to ensure that the switch is left on so that there is power going to the bulbs at all times if you are planning on using a voice assistant or the app to control them. No, you don't have to change the switch. You just need a google hub or home app on your telephone

You don’t have to replace the switch. They work with any smart phone, google or Alexa.
