No plug came with the unit, my electrician ran fresh 8 gauge wire to accommodate the 50amp circuit requirement (hardwired of course)

Hi there! Good question, we'd love to help. Pages 5 - 7 of your installation instructions state that this model needs to be hard wired to a junction box. Its a 220 plug.
