No, you can place that fan outside of a detection zone using the Canary app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No I have my fans running all the time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would, yes. However, they recently added a feature where you can block out "masks"--or areas on the screen that don't detect motion. You could set one up over your fan and it shouldn't set it off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Their is a masking feature. I would just just put a mask on the fans and that way your camera won't get triggered
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The view angle is more wide angle than in height, it depends on the distance the camera is from the fan, the closer it is than it won't catch the fan blades. The Canary Has alert settings for motion (Normal, Medium, High). I would keep it on Normal and you should be alright. I personally like the air quality monitor which also has alert settings. The website should have the full camera specs including viewing. The only downfall about canary is that it doesn't have a memory card slot so to save videos for viewing later you'll need to pay $100/year. Anyway, those are my thoughts.
