The two inks cartridges are the same size , the XL just means that it is a larger capacity of ink in the cartridge. I have used the XL for several years with no problem in my Canon Printer.

The XL ink cartridges have a longer print life, ie I think it is a better deal.

Yes it is the same and will fit. It just holds more ink in the same size cartridge. I recommend it!

I believe it will fit. They are interchangeable in my printer. The xl is larger, holds more ink and lasts longer.

Surely you know this by now as you asked your question long ago, but the XL means it lasts longer (more ink) and the XXL means it lasts a lot longer (lots more ink). Same cartridge.

No its not the same and 241XL is not fit with 241 ink cartridge.
