Yes, this printer will still print B&W docs regardless of the status of the color cartridges.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not experienced this, but I would assume so. The black cartridge is separate. If one color cartridge is out, however, a color print will surely be affected. Simply indicate black and white as the desired print method in your printer dialogue box. As I said haven’t hit this, but old am pretty sure monochrome printing is not dependent on any color cartridge.
