• I found that the sl3 has the aps-c sensor and that should work just fine with any cannon EF-S lens. Here's what I found. Put simply, Canon EF-S lenses are designed solely for use on Canon APS-C DSLRs. Canon EF lenses are designed to work with full frame and APS-C DSLRs from Canon.
