You can mount any lens that is an EF mount. Lens with an EF-S or EF-M mount will not work with the full frame DSLR's.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Keep in Mind that Tamron and Sigma lens have different identifiers numbers on there lens. just because a Tamron says EF Mount, doesn't mean it is meant for full frame camera such as 5Dm4! Same goes for Sigma, make sure the Tamron/Sigma lens you are looking at says works on FULL FRAME!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can, BUT the area the lens can capture is not full frame- soo... there will be vignetting- darkening on corners or more of the frame depending... So if you already have EF-S lenses you can still use them; it's not a loss. However on new purchases go for EF lenses to get the most out of a full frame Canon camera.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera will use any EF lenses from Canon. EF-S lenses will not work properly on the 5D Mark IV.
