“Is this camera capable of manual focus and when you press down on the button to take a picture does it delay or respond immediately?”

• Yep, there is manual focus option (M on the dial) and it responds extremely quickly. I'm happy with the response time.

• Yes it does do manual focus and the shutter speed it all dependent on how you set it, it will respond immediately if you have the shutter speed set quickly.
