Can a remote be used with this camera the T6 DSLR? null

To my understanding, the T6i has the ability to broadcast a local wifi in which you can use your phone/tablet as a remote. This feature is not on the T6, only the T6i. However, accessory remotes can be purchased for the T6, but it doesn't have remote viewing or the abilities to change settings remotely. The T6i is worth the extra money compared to the standard T6 in my opinion.
